For the launch of Canvas, the video loop that plays behind a song, Spotify and FIG built a record store at the Austin City Limits festival, stocked with records that played each artist's loop. I worked on the hardware and software build: twenty wall units, each an HDMI screen driven by a Raspberry Pi Zero, plus a hundred handheld ones in the crates. The portable screens where gutted electronic greeting cards fitted with a custom battery.
