FULFILLMENT SERVICE is Jonathan Fletcher Moore's kinetic installation and performance of human and robotic labor. We have been building things together since 2014. My part here was the control system.

Three performers work a deconstructed assembly line while robotic sculptures run around them: a shopping cart driving in circles, a fire extinguisher hyperventilating, a tire banging itself into a wall.

what i did

Every machine on the floor carried an NRF24 radio, which I networked-meshed together on a mix of microcontroller boards. The performers drove the objects live from a screen running a Pi beside the stage.
